WELCOME TO THE BIRTH PLACE

The Birth Place is a 501c3 Non Profit Organization committed to serving women, men and families in the childbearing year. From conception to pregnancy, birth and postpartum The Birth Place is where Community is born. This is a place where we cherish life and provide support to families as they start their journey into parenthood. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment for all individuals, embracing the beauty of new life and the miracle of birth. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care, education, and resources to empower families throughout the childbearing year.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
1 Peter 4:10

Our Mission

The Birth Place, Inc. is a Christ-centered ministry that aims to provide resources, education and support for families in the childbearing year.  By demonstrating God’s great love for us, we can reach in to our community to share mental health services and birth related support to families in Kootenai County, Idaho and beyond.

Our Vision

The Birth Place brings a culture based on the Christian values of Compassion, Kindness and the Fruits of the Spirit as demonstrated in Galatians 5:22 and where the gospel of Christ is proclaimed over all families and people in North Idaho. We will support mothers and celebrate the wonderful roles of men and women that were designed by God and ordained to be fulfilled in His Will.

Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."

The Great Commission

16 "Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:16-20

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

We believe that the salvation of sinful and lost people comes in believing and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and not because of good works.
